Kaishou walked a bit up the road until he found the apartments that Sheng Li where Sheng Li lived. They wern't rundown, in fact they looked niced and belonged to people that had some money in their pockets.

Kaishou came to the apartment that he sensed was Sheng Li's. He knew that this was the place just because he could feel it even though he's never been there before.

He softly knocked on the door and turned away.
"What am I doing?" he asked himself.

Sheng Li was lying down on his bed thinking about everything that has happened when he heard the knock on his door. He moaned and groaned not wanting company and slowly trudged towards the door.

When he opened it he was staring at the back of Kaishou's head. His frown turned into a grin, this was the one company that he did want.

"Hello...you've come here to see me? Don't be afraid Kaishou...I am only trying to be your friend."

Sheng Li moved aside and widened his door open.
"Come...don't be afraid..."

Kaishou hesitated. He didn't even know why he came here in the first place. He legs just dragged him here against his own will. Keeping his promise to Akahana and the others seemed difficult. He knew no other option but to go inside, and so he did.

He walked passed Sheng Li looking at his home, noticing the furniture he had. It was quite empty, just as he would have expected it to be. He didn't expect Sheng Li to have a colorful life full of excitement and wonders, this was it for him. His boring furniture, blank slabbed walls, and a cold draft that bites you in the butt.

Kaishou sat down on the sofa. He didn't say anything, he waited for Sheng Li to speak.

Sheng Li came inside and talked with Kaishou for a while about why he should be with him on his side hoping that it would be turning him towards him for good. But as though he was running his mouth he could see that Kaishou was wagering a bit. Sheng Li finally came to a pause in his small lecture and just smiled at the silent Kaishou.

"So.....where to go from here is the question." Sheng Li begun. "I see you still don't want to give up your friends just yet."

Kaishou had been sitting there all day listening Sheng Li go on and on about what he viewed was right and what he viewed was wrong. It didn't seem to change Kaishou much, just listening was all he could do at the moment.

Kaishou stood up after it was over and Sheng Li asked a final question of reasoning. Kaishou just grinned and walked pass the man and on his way out the door he said something.

"Why not go screw yourself big guy? Sounds like a good place to start to me!" and he slammed the door behind him.

Kaishou took out a cigarette from his pocket that he stole from Sheng Li's apartment and lit it. Took a long puff and begun walking in no particular direction.

Sheng Li laughed at what Kaishou said to him before he left. Sheng Li nodded to himself, he felt satisfied enough that he had Kaishou somewhat on his side. Though it was said the god of fire had no true side, well then that was becoming more clear now.

Sheng Li stood there in his dark lonely apartment thinking, just thinking was all he could do now.
