Letting everything go to rest

Akahana and Suoh returned to his apartment. Everything was just how they left it. Akahana was drenched and she was shivering once they were inside.

"I...I....thanks...." said Akahana, her teeth were chattering. She didn't complete her sentence, but it was a simple thanks that she wanted Suoh to hear. She felt as if it was needed after all he's done. Some how looking back he's been there ever since they met, strangely enough.

He was always her friend, just never knew how much he meant to her until now. This one moment she finally saw how great it was to have Suoh, she could run to him in the time of need. It was a great feeling and she didn't ever want it to go away.

When they entered the apartment, Suoh went directly to the heater and turned it up. Suoh then looked back to Akahana and she was more drenched then himself. He couldn't help but smile at her shivering. He found a blanket in one of the cabinets and took it out. He unfolded it and put it around Akahana. He then took her face into his hands and said, "No problem. I'm always here for you, I promise." He then kissed her cheek and stood back.

Akahana smiled and felt the warmth of the blanket it around her. She knew that Suoh was going to be there for her always and that would make this moment last even longer.

"I am going to take a shower now..." Akahana claimed and walked away with the blanket still around her. She took a quick hot shower and got dressed in a simple shirt of Suoh's once again and climbed into the bed.

She waited for Suoh to join her before going to sleep herself.

As Akahana was talking a shower, Suoh went to the kitchen to get a drink. At that he found the newspaper and began to read it. There were several interesting things but the most interesting one was the Princess of France arrived here too.

"So the Prince of Greek and the Princess of France is here.... odd." Suoh said to no one.

He heard the shower go off and it was Suoh's turn. After taking a shower Suoh brushed out his hair, changed into some boxers and climbed into bed. He turned to Akahana gave her a kiss on the lips and said, "Goodnight, Aka-ko." Suoh was liking that name for her, it was sort of a nickname that only he would call her. He smiled and began to fall asleep.

Akahana didn't mind Suoh calling her that name but if he was going to call her that then she was going to stick with her own little name for him as well. She turned over and was falling asleep too.

She had early classes tomorrow at school.
