Why Is the Question

Subject: Why Is the Question Mon Jun 23, 2008 8:40 pm

All night and all day Suoh thought. Sometimes it was about things sometimes it was about nothing. But Suoh went home and thought about the future. His dreams. His life but most importantly Akahana. He was very upset that the two barely got to see each other last night and was wondering what she was doing at this very moment. Suoh found his way to the castle, it was one of the places he liked to think.

He didn't exactly go in or anything of that sort. Suoh liked to remain in the field across the way and stare at the castle and... think. For the longest time, Suoh wanted to be in the King's army and fight. But Suoh realized that he had a new thing to fight for and new people to fight against. But Suoh just couldn't believe it was his own brothers and sisters... they were still family but they turned. Why was the absolute question.

"Why...?" Suoh said aloud as he sat himself on the grass in the field looking at the castle.

Sheng Li came out of his apartment after a long time of sleep and hiding. He walked out among the crowds of people and found his way to the castle some how. He stood outside the castle and saw Suoh sitting there alone.

He smiled and came closer approching the man. He pulled out a cigarette and took a smoke of it. He then blew the smoke into Suoh's face and laughed.

"Hello...again..." he said as simple as that.

Suoh would have liked it if he said he wasn't scared that Sheng Li came but that's what happened. Of course Suoh was very careful that it didn't show. He looked up to his enemy and said very gloomy, "Oh, it's you..." And wiped away the smoke, "You mind? Looks like you don't..." Suoh said as he turned back to the castle. And then realized that he wasn't going to leave. Suoh's eyebrows went up and asked, "What do you want, Sheng?"

Soren appeared suddenly, Pong on his shoulder, pride in his swager and overconfidence on his face as Pong made series of clicks and whistles that resembled a song. Soren didn't really want to stop and ask these strangers which direction the market was. Surelythe God of War had better direction than THAT. Sighing, Soren approach the men; apparentlyhe didn't.

Sheng Li kept smoking paying Suoh no mind, just as expected. Did he ever have a reason why he was around? No I didn't think so. Being bothersome is his middle name.

Sheng Li just laughed and blew more smoke in Suoh's direction. "Just looking for fun..." he said and then turned to see the guy that was approaching them.

This guy seemed familiar to him, but yet he couldn't figure this one out either. He just stood there smoking and his hand in his jacket pocket. This could be interesting...

Suoh didn't even know why he asked his questions. A habit he guessed. But with Sheng Li question was merely air in the wind. It meant nothing. Suoh continued to wave his hand as the smoke came toward his face. Suoh realized that the smoke was going to get on his nerves fast.

Suoh's gaze went to a guy walking toward them. A sudden urge went through the Angel of Healing as the man neared. Suoh was so shocked by this feeling that he stood up suddenly and glared at the two men. He didn't know why but Suoh had a feeling that this guy that was walking was with Sheng Li on some level but he couldn't be sure. Suoh just prepared himself for the worse.

Soren noted the irritation on the purple haired man's face and thought twice about approaching. But then, he was a God after all; what could a mortal do to him? Though, as Soren drew even closer, Pong whispered a warning in his mind, These are no mortals you see... and with that the little dragon closed off his mind, no doubt leaving Soren to make a jerk of himself as he straightened his and gave a charming grin. What was he here for again? Oh yes...

"Excuse me...which way is the market?"

Sheng Li didn't say anything at first until the man approached them and asked a simple question. He threw aside his cigarette and stared the man down. He could sense it too. He wasn't sure though what he was sensing so as of now he wouldn't jump to any conclusions that were twirling in his head.

"It's a few miles up the road in town. Who are you if I may ask?" Sheng Li said and there was a grin upon his face. The normal grin that he always wore upon his lips.
