No one here....

Sheng Li was coming home to something...he just wasn't sure what exactly. He walked out of the arena feeling like highly god, when he got home he felt quite ordinary. He just wasn't sure why exactly. He looked around hoping to find something interesting to do, all he could really do now was to wait. Wait for Kaishou to come around to his senses and wait for his time to strike the others down.

Sheng Li stood outside his apartment building looking about at all the people and the cars passing. Time...he needed time.

Akahana drove around the block passing the normal people with normal lives and with a job they had set forth. She had nothing...no one...just the same as she came here she came out just the same way, alone.

Akahana noticed Sheng Li standing outside looking at the people passing smiling as they did, she felt disgusted in her stomach. She stopped the car and stepped out to have a talk with the man.

The first thing she wanted to do was slap him, and so she did. Hard in the face she slapped him and begun to walk away satisfied.

Sheng Li was surprised when he saw a car drive up and stop in its place around the corner of his block. He saw it was Akahana and as she stepped out to approach him he grew quite curious. Sheng Li waited patiently as she walked up to him and wondered what it was she could possibly want from him.

And that was when she slapped him hard in the face. His face turned bright red and as she started to walk away he grabbed her by the arm, pulled her in close and kissed her on the lips.

Akahana couldn't believe that it was happening, the kiss that is. She stood there as Sheng Li made his way with her kiss...stealing the one thing she valued the most. She pulled away and stared him long and hard. She didn't understand what was happening but for a moment there she actually enjoyed it.

Her enemy, their enemy. The one man neither of them, mostly Akahana couldn't even stand to be around let alone have him kiss her like that. She wasn't sure what to say or do in response so instead she did what she wanted and she kissed him back again.

Sheng Li was surprised alone when Akahana actually stood there for a while letting him kiss her and then even more surprised when she came back to kiss him again. Was it working, his power that is. He wasn't using his power at the moment so that couldn't possibly be it, the girl was sad and desperate and so she took her chance with the one man she hated, Sheng Li.

Sheng Li pushed away confused and not sure whether or not he should be happy that this was happening are just down right disappointed. He waited for her explaination but it looked that she herself didn't have one, so he spoke up instead.

"What are you doing....why did you kiss me just now?" he said as though he wasn't enjoying every bit of this. He was this close to winning, winning everything why blow it now. Here was this girl giving herself to him and he stood there not taking what was being offered, an angel at his side.

Akahana stood there listening and not sure what to say in response, all she wanted now was to disappear for good. She didn't think anyone would notice since no one really cared. She stepped away from Sheng li and begun to run, she ran into her car and drove off with tears falling down fast, she was this close to sleeping with the enemy and she felt aweful.

Akahana parked her car at her home and she got out, she went running...running away...far away...she wanted her friend...Kaishou.
