Akahana laughed and let the air flow through her hair as she let it down.

"Oh yeah, my parents are rich....this is there way of saying happy birthday to me..." Akahana claimed and she threw her hands in the air happy as she could be.

"But they don't let me live off their money anymore, so that is why I am actually doing work now..." Akahana added. "What a pain..."

Akahana looked to Suoh, he seemed to be really enjoying the ride.

Suoh's own hair was flowing in the wind. He listened to Akahana and smirked a bit, "So I'm dating a rich girl, huh? I would have never guessed but that's okay. You're dating a poor guy..." He concentrated on the road and listened to Akahana again. He laughed a bit, "You know what's strange I don't even know what work you do. But I'm glad we're both learning to live on our own." He smiled to Akahana and went back to the road.

Akahana laughed, she never really considered herself the rich girl though her parent were. She lived that life in the past but as an older woman she had to make her own ways of living which wasn't so rich.

"Well I was a model and into dancing...but I quit and my parents pay for my school now so actually I am not really working...." Akahana said sadly enough.

"Well, I guess I never really broke free of them truly then, did I?" Akahana said and she closed her eyes to feel the wind against her face.

Suoh nodded as he listened to Akahana. He couldn't believe he was dating a model and a dancer. But that didn't matter, Akahana was much more than that. She was just perfect. Suoh smiled at her and remained quiet as they just drove the streets.

Akahana noticed that maybe this was coming as a bit of a surprise to Suoh so she became silent and then noticed they were reaching her home.

"Hey...pull over big guy...this is my place....need to check on a special someone..." She claimed and waited for Suoh to pull over the car before getting out.

She ran upstairs into her penthouse and kept the door open for Suoh to come in. She ran inside and let her little snake Akari come to her.

"Oh...hello Akari..." she acted as if she wasn't speaking of Akari being the special someone.

Suoh pulled over the car and parked it. He watched Akahana get out quickly and began to wonder what a 'special someone' was. Then he, himself, got out of the car and locked it. He went up the stairs and found a nice looking home. He closed the door behind him with his foot. Suoh smirked as he looked around. The next thing he found was that this 'special someone' was a snake. Suoh grinned and looked from the snake to Akahana.

Akahana held Akari and walked over to Suoh.

"So your not scared of much...so this is Akari....I don't think you two have met..." Akahana claimed and was letting Suoh hold Akari.

"So your Suoh....well....well....well..." Akari said and she looked up at him with her beady eyes. She was speaking to him and he could hear her.

"Don't be mean Akari....he's friendly..." Akahana added and she walked out of the room leaving them two alone for a second. She went into the back and looked into her closet for something.

"So you better not hurt her...or I will be giving you an Akari Special...it's called dead before sundown...." Akari joked yet she was serious.

Suoh wasn't actually scared. He was surprised that Akahana let her hold Akari. At first Suoh thought she was a regular snake but realized after touching her she wasn't and soon enough he could hear her speak. "It's nice to meet you Akari." He watched Akahana go off and not return. He listened to Akari, "I understand completely. And it's now made into a mental note," He smiled to the snake and let her study and investigate him.

Akahana came back and took Akari from Suoh and let her free on the ground again.

"Well I guess you two have become well acquainted..." said Akahana watching Akari leave the room to find her food Akahana set out for her.

"So...you like the place?" Akahana asked and she twirled around and fell onto the sofa.

"Or does it really matter?" Akahana said with a sly grin and she played with her hair.

"So....when are you going to finish your inspection?" Akahana added still grinning.

Suoh let Akahana take Akari and he watched her slither away. Suoh turned his attention back to Akahana and watched her get on the sofa. He smirked at her sentences and Suoh got on the sofa too. He put his arm around her waist and pulled her close, "I think I'll finish it right... now." Suoh kissed Akahana on the lips. This was it again...

Akahana let Suoh kiss her but it didn't go any further than that. Soon Akari came back into the room and she was staring up at them with her beady eyes.

Akahana got up and fixed her clothes she then looked to Akari with angry eyes.

"What are you doing in here?" asked Akahana and she then picked up Akari to kiss her little scaly body.

"I am sorry, but I was bored..." replied Akari and she turned her attention to Suoh.

Akahana placed Akari back down and smiled to Suoh. "Sorry about this..." she said and got up to go to the kitchen.

She came back with two cans of cola and tossed one to Suoh. "So Akari what have you been up to lately?" asked Akahana once she was back seated on the sofa.

"Why worry about me, since you never seemed to care before." Akari cried.

"Oh whatever, if I didn't care about you then why do I still feed you and clean you and do all the normal owner to pet relationship thing."

"I am not a pet! I am not really even a snake! This is just how I am trapped until I can find a way back to my angel form! You idiot!" Akari snapped and she slithered away from the two of them to find her food.

"My, what a big meanie!" Akahana said and stuck out her tongue at Akari as she wiggled away.

Akahana turned back to Suoh and smiled. "So....want to get some lunch?"

Suoh let her go. Though he honestly didn't want her to go but someone, something was in the room. Suoh gave a small grin to Akari. Then he looked up to Akahana. He put up a hand and waved it, "No, it's okay, really." When she came back Suoh opened the can of cola and took a sip. And he listened to the two argue. Suoh remained quiet until something caught his attention. He stared at Akari and then asked, "Wait! You were an angel? Who?" But she wiggled away and Suoh was dumbfounded. He looked to Akahana and said, "Sure... lunch..."

Akahana grabbed the keys on the coffee table and grabbed Suoh's hand. She then opened the door and let Suoh pass before locking it behind her.

They walked down the hall, down the stairs, and out the front door of the building to the parking lot.

"Now I am driving..." she said and got into the front seat of the car. She waited until Suoh was seated before placing the keys into the ignition. The car roared as it came alive and Akahana backed out of her parking spot and drove out of the parking lot complex.

She was driving on the road now behind many other cars and saw the many of people walking the side lines.

"So where to exactly..." She asked while placing on her sunglasses to keep the sun out of her face.

Suoh followed Akahana out the door and remained quiet. He really wanted his question answered but there could be another time for that. Suoh got in the car and buckled up. He was glad Akahana was driving now for he was lost in his own thoughts. He was now going to find out who Akari really was, her angel form. Since he was in these thought Suoh almost didn't hear Akahana but he shook his head and answered, "How about the bakery. They have some good stuff there. Like sandwiches and things."

Akahana looked from the road to Suoh then back to the road again and in that small glimpse she saw the expression written across his face.

"What's with you all of the sudden? I mean sorry that we didn't get to...but we always have later..." said Akahana smiling. She kept her eyes on the road and was coming close to the bakery now.

"No really, what's up? Did Akari do something? She's always being a bully at times!" Akahana joked.

Suoh stared out the window and was thinking again. He heard Akahana and shook his head, "No it's okay that we didn't. And Akari didn't do anything wrong. It's just something she said struck me..." Suoh drifted off and watched the people walk on the side walks. Most of those people were lucky, they didn't have a different life. They didn't have a hidden identity of an Angel or a God or a Goddess. They were just normal humans. Suoh sighed, "I just wonder which angel Akari was...."

Akahana smiled and laughed a little as they pulled into the bakery parking lot. She took the keys out of the ignition but didn't get out of the car. She sat there and sighed and shifted her body to look at Suoh.

"She's my past self...if that makes any sense..." Akahana begun and tried to find the words to say.

"She never really died, just got stuck in the form she is now by someone, but won't tell me who. I guess I was born to take her place as angel, maybe set her free some day. So she can finally rest in peace." Akahana claimed and looked at the people passing their car to get into the bakery.

"All of the sudden I don't feel so hungry..."

Suoh listened to Akahana. In a way it made sense but in another it didn't. But Suoh got out of the car with Akahana and watched the people. All of a sudden he didn't feel hungry too. No, he felt something else. A wave of pure evil energy taking another life of someone. No it wasn't someone a higher being of God or Goddess. Suoh stood still in his tracks and turned to face the park. He was silent but his voice changed as did his face. He was angry now and muttered, "Sheng Li..."

Akahana looked to Suoh as he got out of the car and were among the people. She listened to him suddenly say a name she dared not wanted to hear again.

"I know...let's go..." she said disappointed and got back into the car and was going to head towards the park, it was so close that she could sense the exact place of evil arising. But it wasn't only Sheng Li's evil she sensed, no something else was becoming born.

Suoh got back into the car and was happy that Akahana sensed it too. Soon they would get to the park and find not only Sheng Li and his evil was but something was being born. But what Suoh least expected was Ai lying on the ground almost dead.
